Permanent Schuyler Colfax Middle School Principal Appointed

At the regular meeting of the Wayne Board of Education on February 16, 2017, Mr. Matt Mignanelli was appointed as the Schuyler Colfax Middle School Principal.  Mr. Mignanelli was appointed on December 16, 2016 as the Schuyler Colfax Acting Principal replacing Principal Kim Wettstein who resigned.  Mr. Mignanelli was formerly the middle school Assistant Principal of Schuyler Colfax since August 3, 2015. Please click here for full article.

OPEN NOW! - Kindergarten and new First Grade Student Registration for the 2017-2018 School Year
Registration will take place at the Wayne Township Learning Center (Preakness), 1006 Hamburg Turnpike in Room #9, not at your child’s school, during the weeks of February 20th and February 27, 2017.  Only a parent or guardian may enroll the child.  The child is not required to be present.  Please click here for more information.

Unfortunately, this is the time of year when many illnesses are spread.  Please remember that students are to be out at least 24 hours for strep throat, pink eye, or any other bacterial infection (24 hours from when the student starts antibiotics).  For fevers, vomiting, diarrhea, etc., students are to return to school when symptom-free for 24 hours.   Please help us prevent the spread of these illnesses by adhering to these timelines.
